The Technology: How AI Removal Works
MagicCut Pro utilizes a process called Semantic Image Segmentation. Traditional software looks at pixels based on color similarity (like the Magic Wand tool). AI, however, "sees" the image like a human does.
It distinguishes between the "Subject" and the "Background" by recognizing shapes, textures, and depth cues. This allows it to handle complex edges like hair, animal fur, or transparent glass which are notoriously difficult to edit manually.
Why PNG Format Matters
When you remove a background, you need a file format that supports "Transparency" (the alpha channel).
- JPG/JPEG: Does not support transparency. If you save a cutout as a JPG, the background will automatically turn white or black.
- PNG: The industry standard for logos and cutouts. It allows the background to remain transparent, so you can layer the image over other designs.
